南海健康村的建设致力于创卫工作的延伸、深化和提升,是新时期爱国卫生工作的创新和突破,健康村建设目标的思路和策略就是通过构建健康管理网络、营造健康生活环境、保障公共卫生安全、完善健康保障体系、开展健康促进行动、普及健康锻炼活动,建立健全社区卫生服务网络和健康保障体系,改善村容村貌、生态环境、社会环境和村民文明素质,提高卫生意识,改进健康公平性,并使主要健康指标达到全国先进水平。

The ＇health village＇ project by Nanhai district is to extend and enhance the effort of their striving to be a sanitary village . The theoretical framework and strategy of this project is to better the rural health network and the social security network, improve the ecological, social and sanitary environment of the village and raise the health awareness of villagers, promote health equity, and all in all build the leading villages in terms of their health level by building health management network, enhancing public health, implementing health promotion and publicize exercise among residents.
