摘要
如果说王鼎钧的《碎琉璃》是"观剑画兰"精美之作,那么,由三十多篇散文合成的《左心房漩涡》就是一曲雄壮的交响乐。作家透过种种触目惊心的表象,在哲学与神学的维度叩问民族精神,寻求在战争废墟上修补破碎心灵、重建道德王国的可能。而真正的战争史诗,则是1992年以来陆续出版的三部回忆录。正是《昨天的云》、《怒目少年》和《关山夺路》这三部摄取了战争灵魂的大品,使王鼎钧步入了世界文学大家的行列。从此,王鼎钧的战争文学有了一个精神转向;由表现战争场面满足读者的猎奇欲,到表现战争灵魂,以引发读者对战争的形而上思考;由渲染战争残酷、一厢情愿地反战到尝试引领人们走出战争阴影,在心灵的废墟上重建价值体系;由表现指挥者赢得战争胜利的智慧到表现金字塔下的小人物在战争中保持做人尊严的智慧。战争文学的这一精神转向,开始了作家以新的支点诠释战争的新纪元。
If Wang Dingjun' s The Scattered Glaze is a fine work, The Whirlpool of the Left Atrium composed of over 30 pieces of prose is a magnificent symphony. By penetrating into various shocking outward phenomena, Wang aims to pursue the possibility of consoling the broken hearts and remolding morality on the ruins of war from the perspective of philosophy and religion. The genuine war epics are the three reminiscences written successively since 1992-The Clouds of Yesterday, A Teenager with a Fierce Stare and Occupying the Road at Mount Guan-three great works which have ranked Wang as one of the literary masters in the world. Since then, Wang has accomplished a cultural change in his works on war, namely, the change from portraying battle scenes to satisfy the desire of readers for novelty to picturing the war soul to stimulate readers to muse over wars, from exaggerating war brutalities and of resistance against war one-sidedly to the attempt to lead people out of the negative impact of wars so as to reestablish the value system on the ruins of the soul, as well as the transformation from the demonstration of the wisdom of commanders in their command of battles to the revelation of the dignity of common people in war. It is such a cultural change in his works on war that has initiated the writer into a new angle of explaining the war.
