摘要 随着互联网用户与业务的迅猛发展,传统互联网在路由扩展性上遇到了巨大的挑战。本文介绍了路由可扩展问题的研究背景,提出了虚拟聚合(VA)方案,并通过和身份与位置分离协议(LISP)进行技术对比,总结出虚拟聚合的特点和优势。 With the increasing development of broadband service, the traditional Intemet is facing great challenges, especially in routing scalability. This paper proposes a new routing architecture, called Virtual Aggregation (VA), to solve the routing scalability issue. Analyzing the detail of technique mechanisms, we show that VA can help inter-domain router compress forwarding information base sharply. Comparing Virtual Aggregation with Locator Identifier Split Protocol, the result shows that VA has great advantages to be deployed in the current Intemet.
