Typical Information Method:A Case Study of the Complementarity of Chinese Traditional Culture and Western Culture and the Innovation of Modern Science and Technology

记述笔者提出"典型信息法"假说,以中西文化互补的一种新形式,初步解决当代一项科学技术难题,经大量应用验证,得到国内外承认的心路历程;为中国传统文化与"象思维"在当代科学技术原始性创新中的关键作用,提供一个案例。

In trying to provide a solution to a difficult problem in modern science and technology, the writer puts forward a hypothesis of ＂Typical Information Method＂, which can he seen as a form of the complementarity of Chinese traditional culture and Western culture. This hypothesis has been tested and verified by many underground engineering constructions all over the country in recent twenty years and recognized at home and abroad. The aim of this paper is to provide a case study of the key role of Chinese traditional culture and Xiang thinking for the original innovation of modern science and technology.
