Daks, the postal stations in ancient times, were the organizations of communications and traffics, which served the feudal government by delivering documents, welcoming envoys and transporting commodities.Occasionally, it allows attached private letters delivery. It is called'National Lifeline'for its convenient links between many different places, remote or close and the communication has never stopped.Daks are basic organizations and communication transit agencies of the post station system.Full-time officials such as station chief and station officials were appointed to perform the management job.Nowadays, many ancient post stations and deserted postal sites of hundreds and thousands of years ago can still be seen in many parts of our country, witnessing the long, standing history of our post station system.
