Europium toluenesulfonate and neodymium toluenesulfonate were prepared for the first time. These salts have high solubility in organic solvent and can be dehydrated easily. The cyclic voltammograms of Pt electrode in p(CH_3C_6H_4SO_4)_3EuCoCl_2(n-Bu)4BF_4DMSO and p(CH_3C_6H_4SO_4)3NdCoCl_2(n-Bu)4BF_4DMF were measured respectively ,which indicate the rare earthcobalt can be electrodeposited. The films of Eu-Co and Nd-Co were obtained by potentiostatic electrolyzing.
