The modified copperbased catalyst NC208 for methanol synthesis, prepared by adding small amount of the metal oxide MOx to the industrial catalyst C207,was investigated in this laboratory and tested in industrial scale in more than twenty factories.The results showed that NC208 had higher activity under low temperature and better selectivity and better heat-stability than that of C207.
