摘要 本文首先指出40Gbit/s系统的市场需求已经明朗,技术已基本成熟,成本已趋近启动门限,规模应用指日可待。接下来,本文重点分析和探讨了超高速光纤系统的几个关键技术问题,包括色度色散、极化模色散、非线性损伤、光信噪比要求、调制格式的选择、超级FEC、彩光接口和白光接口的选择等。最后简要讨论了100Gbit/s系统的现状和前景以及40/100Gbit/s系统的发展策略问题。 The article pointed that market demand for 40Gbit/s is clear now, relevant technologies are mature, cost is approaching the threshold of taking off and mass deployment will start soon. Then, the article analyzed and investigated a couple of key technical issues such as chromatic dispersion, PMD, non- linear impairments, requirement of optical signal to noise ratio, selection of modulation formats, super FEC, selection of color and colorless interfaces, etc.. Finally, the article discussed status and prospects of 100Gbit/s systems and development strategy for 40/100Gbit/s systems in brief.
