Sallust was a politician and historian in the late Roman republic. His works have their characteristic in select material and composition. He described objectively the society development of the Rome republic from the political and military affairs of the contemporary era, and the moral was the judgement yardstick. His witing characteristic and historiography ideology have influence on Roman and the west historians.
