The important significance of plant landscape design of the cemetery was elucidated.The application of cemetery plants in ancient China was introduced.Based on field survey and related references,seven characteristics of plants selection in the cemetery were summarized.The concept of plant landscape design of the cemetery was defined.The art principle use,plant plane layout and plant space construction in the layout of plant in the cemetery were discussed.
