Myths are the inheritance of the ancient culture of mankind, stories of the uncivilized times, and reflect the wonderful imagination of people of immemorial ages. The variety of female deities is a splendid creation of ancient China literature. A better understanding of Chinese female myth deities can be obtained by comparing them with the goddesses in western literature, and we can see that Chinese female deifies have abundant connotations and reflect the spiritual tradition of the Chinese people.
