梅州市地质灾害的分布具有明显的地域性、季节性,灾害点数量多,以崩塌、滑坡为主,大多数灾害点个体规模小,稳定性差,危害程度小。根据这些特点,针对性地提出了对地质灾害点治理采取分期分批进行,主要以工程治理、搬迁和与生物工程治理相结合的治理方法,同时对其它灾害项目进行分期分批建设,以达到防灾减灾的目的。

Geological disasters in Meizhou City have the following characteristics： obvious regional and seasonal change ,large number of disaster points, frequent collapse and landslides and disaster, and small scale of disaster and light damage in most disaster points. Based on the above characteristics, the author puts forward the following prevention measures： the control of disasters should be carried out in stage and group by group; Main controls in- clude engineering measures, relocation of settlements and bio-engineering management. At the sametime, the other disaster prevention projects should be constructed by stages and in group. The goal of disaster prevention and reduction can be achieved by above measures.
