改革开放以来,我国道德教育首先需要突破"泛政治化"的藩篱,改变德育研究的政治"宣讲机"状况;其次,追求德育科学化,改变道德教育的混乱状况,关注德育本身的特点、规律;再次,面对道德教育在科学化过程中出现的问题,进行德育的生活论转向,以关注个体的道德品质,引导个体过有道德的社会生活。
