摘要
在经历了20世纪的两次世界大战之后,英国作家威廉·戈尔丁亦对人性产生了怀疑,坚持人性本恶的说法。在其长篇小说《蝇王》中,戈尔丁通过象征手法和神话的主要叙述技巧表现了善与恶、理智与冲动、文明与野蛮的矛盾冲突,展现了在人类文明、法制缺失后所出现的混乱以及小说人物的兽性,从而揭示了性本恶。笔者将在前人研究的基础上,进一步探索《蝇王》的主题,一方面肯定并阐释了戈尔丁在《蝇王》中揭示的人性恶的主题,另一方面提出该作品中隐含了救赎的主题。
Based on previous studies, the paper further explores the theme of ＂Lord of the Flies＂. On one hand, it confirms the theme of evil nature Golding revealed in ＂Lord of the Flies＂; on the other hand, it points out the implicit theme of salvation and redemption.
