Especially, the revenge of the hero - Heathcliff, intrigues a variety of debate and accusation. However, with the expansion of people＇s horizons of expectation, Heathcliff＇s ways of revenge are associated with the reasons why he has done so. And this makes it acceptable for him to avenge those who have degraded him.
