Prevention and Cure for Rectal Prolapse in Laboratory Monkeys

目的探索实验猴直肠脱的理想治疗方案。方法根据本中心治疗成功的经验对实验猴直肠脱的治疗方案、术后护理及预防措施进行了详细论述。结果经临床实践,本防治方案对实验猴直肠脱的治愈率可达90%以上。结论本方案可以在生产中推广应用。

Objective To search an ideal treatment to cure rectal prolapse in laboratory monkeys. Method Based on the knowledge of causes, pathogenesis and clinical symptoms of rectal prolapse in laboratory monkeys, and on our previous successful experience, an effective surgical treatment procedure, careful postoperative care and preventive protocol were designed and practiced. Results Eighteen monkeys with rectal prolapse were treated, among them 17 were cured, with a clinical cure rate of 94%. Conclusion This protocol is worthwhile to be popularized in practice.
