本文从公民社会的内涵、特征、存在的必要性等方面阐述了公民意识教育的概念、公民意识教育能为公民社会的构建提供意识层的基础和能力层的保障、公民意识教育理应成为公民社会的奠基性教育等观点。

In 2008, civil society is emerging in China. In this thesis, we will talk about the connotation, characteristic and the existing necessity of the civil society, which will lead to the concept of civic consciousness education. Civic consciousness education can provide consciousness education and capability cultivation for the construction of civil society. Civic consciousness education ought to become the foundational education of the civil society.
