This paper concerns the way with which embedded system based on micro controller 51 was connected with the Internet by using network interface chip RTL8019As. In addition, the layered implementation of TCP/IP protocol family was introduced. For the convenience of application, the TCP/IP protocol in MCU was simplified for network communication which is helpful for the design and application of information applianceas.
