On Retrospect and Prospect of Lost Story in the Six and Tang Dynasties

对六朝及唐五代时期文言小说佚文的整理,从两宋时期就已开始,但真正取得较大成就是在明清时期及建国前后。同时也留下了不足之处,如版本的选择、前人辑佚成果的运用和误辑等。并且辑佚工作中在求备、求真、对佚文的校勘注释和对与辑佚相关的文献考索等方面都还需要进一步推进。

Compiling of the lost stories in the Six and Tang Dynasties began in the Song Dynasty, and more achievements had been made after the Ming Dynasty. At the same time, some shortcomings had been left, and much more research works must have been carried forward.
