This paper centres on how to value, develop and make full use of the ＂recessive＂ factors in college English teaching, suggesting that enough attention should be given to the ＂primacy effect＂ from figures and language skills, the emotional communication between teachers and students, the effect of difference information, the absorption of knowledge through manifold work.
