摘要
以高职非英语专业四个班级的学生为实验对象,开展在英语教学中实施研究性学习的实验研究,并且采用定性、定量方法,分析了研究结果。结果表明:(一)学习方式的转变,学生从被动地接受知识的学习方式转变为积极主动地探求知识的学习方式;(二)创新方法的掌握,大多数学生学会了开展科学研究的创新方法;(三)英语水平的提高,实验组的英语成绩明显好于控制组。
This paper reports an empirical study of applying Project Learning to English teaching in a vocational college. The subjects were from four non-English major classes. Detailed analysis of both the qualitative and quantitative data has yielded the findings as follows: 1 ) the change of learning style, i.e. from passively learning knowledge to actively acquiring knowledge; 2) the mastering of innovation methods, which indicates that most subjects have mas- tered the methods of innovation necessary to conduct scientific research; and 3) the improvement in English proficiency, for the experimental group performed much better than the controlled group in English tests.
