Reflections on International Financial Order from International Financial Crisis

此次席卷全球的金融危机本质上是国际金融体系危机,建立于美元霸权上的国际金融体系具有不可持续性并推动了危机的蔓延,增大了危机的破坏性。面临此次金融危机引发的国际储备货币多元化,国际资金流动监管加强以及国际货币基金组织改革,我国应在其中发挥积极的作用,并适时推进人民币国际化,增强我国在国际金融体系中的话语权,并在加强金融监管的同时渐进有序地开放本国的金融市场。

The financial crisis we experienced today is the crisis of international financial system in nature. The international financial system built on the hegemony of US dollar is not sustainable and spread the crisis, making it more devastating. Facing with this financial crisis, international reserved currency should be multiple, regulation of international capital flow should be strengthened, and the IMF should be reformed. In such a process, China should actively involve and accelerate the internationalization of RMB in time, so as to enhance the status of China in international financial system. It is also desirable to open the financial market of China step by step in the circumstance that reasonable regulation is provided.
