行动者网络理论所浮现的"实践本体论"(ontologies in practice)可以引起对地理事象的哲学和本体论思考;该理论的关系思维和过程思维为经济地理学注入了新的思维模式;同时,该理论所强调的具体的、历史的、实践的维度及其对称地看待人类经济活动和自然环境的关系,为考察人类经济活动在全球性、区域性和地方性等不同尺度地域空间的宏观性和微观性、客观性和主观性、绝对性和相对性、普遍性和特殊性之间的辩证关系提供一种新的视角。

Actors - network theory provided a method to revisit and rethink economic geography. ＂Ontology in practice＂ of ANT could lead to take serious about philosophy and ontology of economic geography;The relationship, process and evolution thinking of ANT inject the new mode of thinking for economic geographic. Meanwhile, ANT has stressed to take the concrete, historical and practical dimension and treats the relationship between the human economic activities and the natural environment by the principle of the symmetry, it offers a new perspective for the study of human economic activities in different geographical spaces including the global, regional and local scales and the dialectical relations between the macro and the micro, the objectivity and the subjectivity, the absolute and the relative, and the universality and the particularity.
