Industrialization of Cotton Cultivar "Sumian 22" and Correlative Breeding Problems

This paper introduced the concept, model and meaning of agriculture industrialization, and elaborated the industrialization process of ＂Sumian 22＂： breeding, trial, examination and approval, protection of new variety right, demonstration, propagation, storage, processing, quarantine and quality supervision, popularization, science and technology service and investment in scientific research. In addition, the article illustrated the characteristics, coordinative cultivation technologies, breeding thought and its actual effect, and the innovation point of ＂Sumian 22＂ in comprehensive comparison with other cotton cultivars bred in the same term, similar researches and similar technologies. Finally, the author discussed the prospects of the industrialization of ＂Sumian 22＂.
