摘要
为进一步提高无线通信系统的频谱效率,提出了一种新型分数增量中继协议.在该协议中,若数据包的直接传输失败时,中继节点并不是1次转发整个数据包,而是先将其分为若干子块,每次只传输其中1个子块,直至目标节点实现正确接收或达到最大中继传输次数.理论分析和仿真结果表明,所提出的分数增量中继协议能有效地降低平均传输时间,显著地提高频谱效率.
A cooperative protocol termed as fractional incremental relaying (FIR) is firstly presented to achieve higher spectral efficiency for wireless communications. In FIR protocol, when direct transmission of a packet fails, the relay node divides the received packet into several sub-blocks and transmits one by one as needed instead of the entire packet. Both analysis and simulation demonstrate that the proposed FIR protocol can achieve less average transmission duration and higher spectral efficiency than the traditional incremental relaying protocol does.
