贫富差距扩大是当前我国经济社会发展过程中比较突出的问题。贫富差距产生和扩大的社会原因主要是:我国社会主义市场经济发展过程中,法律、政策不完善,制度不健全,国家宏观调控力度不足。科学发展观是现阶段我国经济社会发展的重大指导方针。调控贫富差距,必须以科学发展观为指导,大力发展生产,完善分配政策,健全社会保障体系。在全社会共同努力下,才能逐步缩小贫富差距,避免两极分化。

The main social reasons of the forming and expanding of the gap between rich and poor are： in the course of the development of our country＇s socialist market economy,the related laws,policies and system is imperfect,lacking of national macro- eontrol efforts. The scientific outlook on development is the guideline of China＇s economic and social development at this stage, To regulate the gap between rich and poor must be guided by the scientific outlook on development, to develop production and improve distribution policies, build a sound social security system. Only in the joint efforts of the whole society can we gradually narrow the gap between rich and poor and avoid polarization.
