The cloud computing is a trend of computer network development,which represents a new digital processing method and is one of people＇s life style in future. Though its theory is not yet perfect and its practice not rich,it brings to the fields of books and archives a new enlightenment,as being a leading idea in processing the information resources. The paper expounds the basic concept of personal digital archives on enlightenment brought by the concept of cloud computing and using the researching and developing conditions of personal digital library for reference.
