从认知角度看汉语N+N复合词的构建理据

On Construction of Chinese N+N Compounds from the Cognitive Perspective

认知语言学为复合词的内部构建提供了新研究视角,使其不再只局限于传统的语法和形态分析中。分类(type-of)以及部分—整体(part-whole)的范畴化关系为此提供了理论基础,Ungerer&Schmid以此对英语复合词的内部构建展开了认知研究。基于此,文章按照词性和组成成分,对汉语N+N复合词进行范畴化研究,探究内部不同的认知图式关系,构筑不同的认知模型公式,以说明汉语复合词作为短语/句子结构压缩的产物,意合程度强,象似程度高。

The newly emergent cognitive linguistics has offered a new perspective for internal construction of the compounds so that the study is not only confined to traditional grammatical and morphological analysis. The type - of and part - whole relations for categorization have laid a theoretical basis ,on which Ungerer ＆ Schmid has carried out cognitive studies on internal construction of English compounds. Based on this,the paper conducts categorization study on Chinese N ＋ N compounds according to the components and parts of speech,for the sake of .exploring different cognitive schemas and constructing cognitive model equations inside the compounds, from which the paper draws the conclusion that Chinese compounds, as the compacted products of phrases/ sentence structures, are highly paratactic and iconic.
