The Eight Friends of Zhushan, with five of Huizhou descent, are a highlight in the ceramic history of Jingde Town, setting a landmark in China＇s encaustic painting. They enriched Hui culture by extending it to other fields as well as breathed new life into the ceramic culture of Jingde Town.
