高职院校公共英语分层教学的管理策略与路径选择 被引量:8

摘要 当前,许多高职院校因新生英语基础和学习能力的个体差异过于明显,而不得不采取分层教学的方式来开展公共英语教学;但在开展英语分层教学的过程中存在学生分班难、学生管理难、流通升迁难以及教学内容、教学进度、教学评价常常并不体现层次性等现象,这些现象的发生主要是由教学管理制度和措施不到位所致,因此应采取分层教学的管理策略来予以解决,包括用人才培养全面性要求来规范英语分层教学、坚持主体性与主导性相结合、构建培养学生"会学习、善思考"的英语教学方法体系、借助信息化平台对教学过程进行规范化管理和保底性等,同时还须走适合高职院校的专业内分层目标教学、定向培养目标分层教学和能力目标分层监测等分层教学之路。 Nowadays the freshmen of higher vocational and technical colleges are coming in with uneven English levels and discrepancy in aptitude, which makes gradational English teaching necessary. But problems occur when gradational English teaching is carried out it is difficult to classify the students and manage the class, upgrade mobility, and the teaching incorrect regulatory regime and measures. content, schedule and evaluation are not precipitated because of the To resolve them, it's essential for us to adopt correct administrative tactics, including regulating gradational English teaching according to the comprehensive requisition in training for profession, structuring methods system of English teaching for training students' ability of self-learning and thinking, persisting in teaching's subjectivity and dominance, and standardizing teaching process with the aid of informational platform. In the meantime, it is suggested that alternative ways such as gradational objective-based teaching within the specialities, professional objective-oriented teaching, and gradational objective-based teaching with aptitude monitored should be applied in practice.
