This article deals with the history of development of plant protection machinery in China. It is divided into a survey of pesticides and equipments, brief history of the development of some new types of plant protection machine, such as low volume sprayers, ultra-low-volume sprayers, large-sized plant protection machines and biological control equipments; and the chronological table of the kinds of plant protection machinery developed in China.
