Being Inadvisable to Carry Out the Division of Arts and Science in High School

摘要 当前,我国高中阶段不宜实行文理分科。高中阶段文理分科有悖于知识的整体性,不利于人的整体素质的提升,也不符合教育权法理。高中阶段文理分科不利于素质教育的推行而强化了"应试教育"效应,其不利于减轻学生学习负担,不利于发挥学生特长,也不利于与大学接轨。恢复实施高中阶段的文理综合教育有利于具有较高适应能力和发展潜力、兼具较高人文和科学综合素养的复合型人才的培养。 Currently, it is inadvisable to carry out the division of arts and science in high school in China. The division of arts and science in high school is against the integrity of knowledge, the upgrading of the quality of people, which is not in conformity with the legal principle of educational right, either. The division of arts and science in high school goes against the implementation of quality-oriented education while it has intensified the effect of "examination-oriented" education, which is against relieving the learning load of students. It runs against not only the development of students' speciality, but also being in accordance with university. To resume the implementation of comprehensive education of arts and science is beneficial to the inter-disciplinary talent cultivation with higher adaptability and development potential, as well as high humanistic and scientific comprehensive accomplishment.
