湖北荆州熊家冢墓地2006～2007年发掘简报

2006～07 Excavation of the Xongjiazhong Cemetery in Jingzhou,Hubei

熊家冢墓地位于湖北省荆州市荆州区川店镇张场村、宗北村与当阳市河溶镇星火村交界处,是东周楚国大型墓地之一,2006～2007年荆州博物馆对其车马坑和部分殉葬墓进行了抢救性发掘。殉葬墓出土的器物以玉器为主,另有铜、铁、陶器等,其中玉器有璧、环、珩、佩、牌、管、坠、珠等。车马坑出土有铜器、锡器和玉器等。此次发掘揭示了东周楚国高等级大型墓地的基本内涵,为探讨楚故都纪南城与其周边大型东周墓地的关系,以及溯源早期楚国都城等提供了重要的实物资料。

Xongjiazhong cemetery is one of the large cemeteries of the State of Chu in Eastern Zhou, located in Chuandian Town, Jingzhou District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. From 2006- 2007, a salvaging excavation was carried out by Jingzhou Municipal Museum. A chariot pit and some sacrifice tombs were excavated. Burial objects unearthed from the sacrifice tombs include jades, bronzes, iron wares, and pottery, most are jades. The jades include bi, h uan, heng, pei, and other ornaments. Objects unearthed from the chariot pit include bronzes, tinwares, jades, and so on. This excavation reveals relationship between the Ji＇ nan City and the large Eastern Zhou cemeteries surrounding the city. It also provides important materials to the study of the early capital of the State of Chu since the city Ji＇nan was the one-time capital of the state.
