Treatment of clavicle fractures with shape memory alloy embracing fixator

目的探讨形状记忆合金环抱器治疗锁骨骨折的疗效和适应证。方法我院自2004年6月至2008年9月采用环抱器治疗锁骨骨折35例。其中锁骨中段骨折32例，外1／3骨折3例。结果32例获随访，骨折均愈合，愈合时间6—12周，平均7．8周。1例术后1周出现环抱器脱落，经2次手术后稳定。本组病例未出现感染骨折及血管、神经损伤等并发症。根据庄起昌和蒋宁葆评价标准：优29例，良2例，可1例，差0例，优良率96．8％。结论形状记忆合金环抱器治疗锁骨骨折具有操作简单，固定可靠等优点，适用于中1／3骨折，不适用于外1／3骨折及严重粉碎性骨折。

Objective To explore the clinical results and the surgical indications of shape memory alloy embracing fixator for clavicle fractures. Methods Thirty-five clavicle fractures were treated with the shape memory alloy embracing fixator from June 2004 to September 2008. Among them, 32 cases were clavicular midpiece fractures and other 3 cases were fractures on the lateral one third of clavicle. Results Thirty-two patients finished follow-up with satisfied bone healing. The healing duration was about 6 - 12 weeks. According to the Zhuang Qichang Scoring Criteria of clavicle fractures, 29 cases were excellent, 2 cases were good, 1 case was fair and no poor case was found. The excellent rate was 96. 8%. Conclusion The treatment of clavicle fractures with shape memory alloy embracing fixator has the features of secure fixation and simple manipulation. This method is especially suitable for the treatment of clavicular midpiece fractures.
