摘要
多年来,第二语言的教与学是在教室里由教师使用一块黑板、一支粉笔和一本固定的教材面对学生直接授课完成的。这种传统的教学方法显然已经落后于时代的步伐,难以满足人们学习语言和使用语言的需求。在多媒体信息技术发展日趋成熟的时代里,其特殊作用已日趋明显而不容忽视。与传统的教学模式相比,多媒体信息技术具有不可替代的优势,它有利于提高语言学习者的自主学习能力和交际能力,从而提高学习者的语言水平和整体素质。
With the "extensive application of information and communications technology (ICT)in different areas,it manifests its clear advantages. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, which has been conducted and completed in a context of a blackboard, a piece of chalk, classroom with always teacher to students interaction, the multimedia information technology shows incomparable advantages in English language teaching (ELT), which can,to a larger extent,promote learners' autonomy,thus enhancing their communicative competence. This paper attempts to expound the features, application and problems of ICT in ELT.
