The history of membrance separation technology, its development and application are briefly reviewed. Technical classification of various filtering and separating membrans is mentioned.The Beijing Green Spring Environmental science and technology Co. and two practical engineering applications developed by this company is' Green Boiler Engineering' and 'Drinking Water Supply System for Urban Inhabitants' are introduced with some brief illustrations
