摘要
介词的空间意义由几何构型成分和功能成分共同构成,几何构型成分是显性的、默认的、第一位的,功能成分是隐性的、非默认的、第二位的,在构型成分不明确时被唤起和突显。长期以来,介词空间意义的研究集中在几何构型上,功能成分被忽视。但功能成分是介词空间意义的重要组成部分,它为同一介词表达的不同几何构型提供较统一的解释,影响或决定某些介词的选择,为介词的隐喻意义提供解释机制,也为区分同义介词提供了一个新的视角。
The spatial semantics of prepositions are made up of geometric senses and functional senses, of which the former are explicit, default and therefore primary, and the latter implicit, non-default, and secondary. The functional senses are invoked when the geometric senses are not clearly specified. Being an important component of prepositional meanings, the functional senses can provide a unified account of the different geometric configurations of the same preposition, influence or even determine the choice of some prepositions, offer an explanation of the metaphorical senses of prepositions, and make available a new perspective for distinguishing some synonymous prepositions.
