文章就石油钻机绞车带刹车机理及设计计算中几个关键要素的选择进行了剖析。并就设计计算中刹带包角角度的确定和刹车气缸能力的计算，提出了新的计算方法，供设计参考。

Abstract This paper studies thebraking mechanism of thedrawworksband brakes and the choice of some key factors in their designing.The author presents several methods of determining the wrap angle of the brakingbands and calculating the capacity of the braking air cylinders.These methodsare availablefor the designer's reference.
