Discussion on cultural education in English teaching

大学英语教学中,不仅要加强语言知识的学习,更要注重文化知识的教育。对文化知识深入研究会对语言知识的教学起到积极的促进作用,同时有助于学生更好地理解吸收语言知识。通过对文化教育内容与原因的分析,从而总结出文化教育的原则以及应采取的方法,培养学生的文化意识,提高学生的跨文化交际能力,使其真正将英语学以致用。

During the college English teaching, not only should enforce the language learning, but also focus on cultural education. Studying deeply cultural knowledge can promote actively the language teaching, meanwhile is helpful for students to understand and absorb language knowledge. By analyzing cultural education content and reason, sums up the cultural education principles and methods, therefore, trains the students＇ abilities of cultural communication and makes them use English properly.
