摘要
围绕基于特征的集成系统中设计模型与制造模型两种产品表示机制,建立面向原始产品定义数据的CSG/BRep特征信息混合表示模型,定义CSG和BRep与产品定义数据之间的关联,作用于这种关联机制下的特征模型将多面体式的几何模型与原始设计模型以可靠性与精确性为原则而联系起来,并提出了一种新的特征识别方法——基于精确表示的设计特征搜索与还原,该算法获得的特征体脱离了底层离散描述而采用精确的解析描述。
A hybrid CSG/BRep feature model, which is based on two distinct product representation schemes——design model and manufacturing model——is introduced. Such a hybrid feature model ensures the consistency between CSG/BRep and original product design information so as to maintain the exactness and robustness of the discrete model derived from the design model. This consistency is necessary for transferring a as exact as possible intermediate model for the downstream manufacturing planning and NC programming respectively complying with various machining environments and manufacturing tolerances. We present a novel featurerecognition algorithm to achieve the following two aims: (1) The novel algorithm can recognize compound features, which have defied previous attempts to recognize. (2) The low level discrete data of polygonal model is replaced with the data of analytic style (original product design data) towards description of the solved feature.
