The south bridge is an important municiple engineering for Changsha city.It is an extra long urban bridge over the Xiangjiang river.Both sides of the river bank are beautiful scenic areas.Based on the analysis of surrounding environment,hydrogeologic condition,etc,the reasons that the continuous girder with inclined legs is selected and adopted from the point of view of technicality and economy are presented.
