The paper analyses the characteristics of the design and the requirements for professional CAD software design. Then, the following tactics for developing general CAD software for special users are suggested. Integrating commands, drawing date is given by parameters, combinative drawing are assembled with drawing elements, visualizing the stored drawings, and the professional menus and commands for users.The authors also present the effective methods of implementing the tactics according to their practical experience.
