杨光的口才很好，她喜欢用排比句描述一件事情或一种心情，经常会出口成章，她非常喜欢中国的古典文学，尤其是中国的诗词歌赋。后来看了她那些标为“清词浅旬、断章残语”的优美的博文，我才知道，杨光所谓的喜欢实际已是着迷了，她写的古体诗词，既有洒脱的浪漫，又有细腻的婉约，随意选一篇，便可见她深厚的文学功底。

Yang Guang is conversant not only in music,but in classical Chinese literature,poetry and prose. She even dabbles in creative writing.Born in Beijing but raised in Hunan,Yang Guang had worked as a textile worker,although she enjoys the distinction of being the first Chinese to win the Cardiff Singer of the World competition.She is a professional opera singer with great insight - one of her pearls of wisdom is'to truly interpret a role,the role has to live close to you.'Yang Guang is a true artist and a real person - in a recent interview conducted in Shanghai she shares her views on opera and life.
