Effects of Transgenic Bt Cotton On Feeding Behavior Of Cotton Bollworm Larvae

在室内研究了转 BT基因棉对初孵、2、3龄棉铃虫幼虫取食行为的影响。结果表明 :低龄幼虫在 BT棉上取食时间明显减少 ,吐丝下垂和静息时间明显延长 ,而爬行时间差异不显著。棉铃虫取食行为的变化使得棉株的受害程度减轻 ,同时由于暴露时间增加 。

The effects of transgenic Bt cotton on feeding behavior of cotton bollworm were studied in Lab.The result shown that feeding time of Cotton Bollworm decreased considerably on transgenic Bt cotton,the time of spin down and staying prolonged considerably,the crawling time changed little.The change of feeding behavior on transgenic Bt cotton is beneficial to cotton itself and the natural enemies.
