Concerning the existing problem in the development of animal science specialty of Sichuan Agricultural University, con- crete ideas for strengthening practical teaching system were put forward, concrete measures for improving teaching quality were explored, a practical approach in training professionals for meeting the needs of society was formed and practiced, and the good teaching effect was obtained.
