内容庞杂、作者众多、版本不同、解读各异的先秦典章制度及儒家思想汇编《礼记》,经过其漫长的成书及文献整理、流传、研究后,不仅成为一部积累起来多科性的学术史,也成为反映我国秦汉以前社会现实的一部社会生活史。在其文献研究上,较多地进行了对《礼记》的整体注释与校勘、对《礼记》礼制的综合研究、对《礼记》版本的文献研究和对《礼记》一书所涉及的诸多方面的具体内容的阐发。

The Book of Rites, which roots in the soil of Chinese ancient culture, has the characteristic of its numerous contents and authors as while as different versions and varied interpretations. It is the compilation of pre-Qin Scripture and Confucian thoughts. Through a long period of compiling, collating, spreading and researching, it is not only the academic history of polysubject but also the reflection of social life before Qin and Han. On the document study, people have paied much attention on its annotation, collation, different versions and comprehensive study of morality and righteousness, etc.
