周汝昌先生常用的红学方法论

The Methodology Frequently Used by Mr. Zhou Ruchang for the Studies of A Dream of Red Mensions

周汝昌先生认为对20世纪的《红楼梦》研究只有自己正确,其实他的考证大部分都是在证假为真。我们在探讨周先生的红学研究的时候,注意到他的方法独具的特点。他的主要方法有:随意附会法;曲解作品为自己观点服务法;大话欺人法;泼脏水法;无中生有法;翻手为云,覆手为雨法。方法在研究工作中绝对不是一个小问题,正确的方法会引导我们走向胜利的彼岸,错误的方法则会把我们引入迷途,走向泥沼。因此总结周先生的方法论,也就是在总结上个世纪的红学史的经验与教训,不会是一个没有意义的问题。

Mr. Zhou Ru - chang thinks only himself correct in the study of＂ A Dream of Red Mansions ＂ inthe 20th century. In fact most of his textual criticism is in certificate unreal is real. We notice the characteristic of his method when we discussing Mr. Zhou＇s studies of the novel. His major methods have interpretion at will, distort the norvel to serve his viewpoint, Boast bully person, Sprinkle dirty water , and so on. The method is not a subproblem absolutely in studying work, correct method can guide us moving towards victory , and wrong method can lead moving towards mud natural pond. Therefore summing up Mr. Zhou＇s methodology is also summarize the lesson and the experience on studies of the novel in the last century. It＇s not a problem that has no meaning.
