课堂环境下英语专业学生主动词汇发展调查研究

摘要 通过对新疆财经大学外国语学院英语专业2004级67名学生进行为期一年的词汇跟踪测试,试图探索在课堂环境下,英语专业学生主动词汇的发展变化情况。研究发现,经过一年的英语学习,英语专业学生的控制性主动词汇取得了明显进步,尤其是在2000词频级;自由主动词汇量的明显增长只发生在1000和AWL词频级。同时,学生控制性主动词汇的发展和自由主动词汇的发展不存在相关关系。 In the present study, the subjects are 67 English Majors enrolled into Scchool of Foreign Languages in Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics in 2004. Based on the longitudinal study, this study intends to present a complete picture of the active vocabulary knowledge of English Majors and to explore its development over one year's instruction. It is found that for English Majors, controlled active vocabulary progress, especially in 2000, but free active vocabulary only progressed apparently in 1000 and AWL. The result also indicates that the scores of controlled active vocabulary correlate with free active vocabulary. In addition, some pedagogical implications of English instruction can be drawn from this study. At last, signification and limitation of the present study are also discussed.
