Multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification （MLPA） was a new technology developed in recent years. It was used in gcne detection and gene diagnosis with higher sensitivity. This paper introduces the principle, characteristics, of MLPA technology and it applicated in genetic diagnosis and researched in varie- ty field.
