中华文化从源头开始,就有自己的特色,即一切从天文(包括地理)出发。这是中华文化的第一特征。天文向人文的转换,历是第一成果。以历为标志,文明开始了。以历而论,中华民族的确率先跨入了文明。中华文明最根本的优点就是,利用自然而不危害自然。谈中华文化而不知卦,则犹如谈江河不知源头一样,不可能有深刻、正确的认识。
